The solar clock/oscillator reverses its current flow and the position of its magnetic poles every eleven year half-cycle. In galaxies and larger bodies a clock cycle will presumably take aeons, but the smaller ones are open to investigation.

Thus their quasi-stability must involve a Lorentz type of attractor rather then Henon's unidirectional model.
